Our objective is to offer a really interesting and even challenging menu, focused on local produce. Almost everything is made in house from base ingredients. From mayonnaise to bread, petit fours and even the ketchup. Our remaining challenge is to make all our own ice cream!

Our menu combines traditional pub favourites with more exotic dishes with children and vegetarians being catered for. We use the wonderful produce of the area whenever possible.

Our specials board change regularly and often feature dishes that offer new eating experiences for more adventurous diners. Our suppliers are small firms, game keepers and farmers in Wales, except our fish which comes from one of Wales' most reputable fishmongers who source their fish from all major British fishing ports.  We especially love to offer venison, rabbit, wood pigeon and Welsh black beef.  Much of the produce is free range, organic and cholesterol free!

Meals may be eaten in the restaurant or in the bar and in the Summer season, outside on one of our sunny patios.
