A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at The Cross Inn, a 'treehouse' situated on the fringe of Cowbridge near Llanblethian, a picturesque hamlet in the charming Vale of Glamorgan. We have a rich history and heritage typical of the area. Built during the 16th century, the Inn become a staging inn for housing the horses and provisions of pick-me-up refreshment for passengers. It is situated on what was once an important country fair crossroads adjacent to the 12th century St Brynach's Church.
Arthur, Liam and staff extend a warm welcome and invite you to try their delicious home-cooked restaurant and bar food, beautifully presented by our Chef and team, who take great pride in developing on a daily basis a menu of British meals with an influence of continental cuisine. They use locally sourced ingredients including fine Welsh steaks, turkey, lamb, pork and beef amongst others. Our Sunday Lunch has become renowned for its choice and quality. The food is supported by a selected quality wine list and award winning ales.
